Halton Regional Police Service (H.R.P.S.) is asking the public for help. Cineplex Cinema in Milton was robbed February 11, at approximately 3:20am.
A suspect backed a blue 4-door F-150 through the building’s front doors targeting a bank machine in the front lobby. Nothing was stolen, but property damage is estimated at $100,000.
Police are asking the public to keep an eye out for the truck. It’s missing a mirror, and has severe damage the rear, and side of the vehicle. There is no plate number, but police describe it as having 6 digits.
The public are encouraged to contact Detective Bob Lester at: 905-825-4747 ext. 2455 with information. Tips can also be submitted through Halton Crime Stoppers’ website or via text message to Crimes (274637). Text messages must have TIP201 with the information.
Cineplex will open tonight as scheduled at 6pm, and maintain regular hours through the weekend.
