The Halton Police are investigating two distinct pharmacy robberies in Halton Hills on December 22.

The first incident unfolded at approximately 4:30 pm at the Pharmasave on Main Street North in Acton. According to reports, three male suspects, all wearing surgical masks, entered the pharmacy and forcefully demanded narcotics. Although no weapon was seen or mentioned, the incident left the pharmacy staff shaken. The trio escaped in a black Honda sedan. Descriptions of two of the suspects have been released: both are of thin build, with one approximating 5’8″ in height and wearing a black hoodie and blue surgical mask, and the other around 5’4″, also in a black hoodie and blue surgical mask, and carrying a backpack. The third suspect remains unidentified. The police have appealed to the public for dashcam footage around the pharmacy between 4:00 and 5:00 pm.

The second robbery occurred later the same evening, around 6:50 pm, at Young’s Pharmacy on Main Street South in Georgetown. This robbery involved three male suspects, one of whom brandished a handgun. The assailants demanded narcotics and cash before fleeing in a stolen white Honda CRV. Shortly after, the vehicle was involved in a single-vehicle collision on Maple Avenue. The suspects abandoned the crashed car and fled near Armstrong Boulevard. Police recovered the stolen vehicle, a replica handgun, a quantity of cash, and narcotics linked to the robbery. The search for these suspects is ongoing.

The police believe the two robberies are not connected.
