The Halton District School Board (HDSB) will host three in-person I-STEM open-houses November 3, 2022. 7pm.
I-STEM is a four-year program for students to develop skills related to Innovation, Engineering design and design thinking, as well as entrepreneurial thinking skills and global competencies. The open houses will give potential students, and their parents the opportunity to learn more about the I-STEM program. They will be held in-person at:
- Aldershot School- 50 Fairwood Pl W, Burlington
- Elsie MacGill Secondary School- 1410 Bronte St S, Milton
- and T.A. Blakelock High School- 1160 Rebecca St, Oakville
“With the success of the I-STEM program at Aldershot School in Burlington and Elsie MacGill Secondary School in Milton, the Board is excited to expand the program at T.A. Blakelock High School in Oakville,” HDSB Superintendent of Education- School Programs Nick Frankovich said.
The open houses will include a presentation from I-STEM faculty as well, as well a chance to ask questions. For more information visit the HDSB website.
