Even COVID-19 can’t stop Miracle on Main St. The annual fundraiser organized by the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation (TJSF) will still be held in cooperation with the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) accept in an online format, and without the street party that closes Main St. in Milton for a morning. This this the third year the two have partnered on the annual fundraiser.
“Let’s make sure that this Christmas is one of the best Christmases kids have all across Halton,” HRPS Chief Stephen Tanner said in a short video. They have adapted fundraiser to accommodate COVID-19. HRPS are not accepting donations of unwrapped toys at their facilities. They are encouraging residents to give either cash donations, or gift cards through Miracle On Main’s official website. All donations go back into Halton Region.
The annual Cram a Cruiser event will be held this year at the following locations throughout Burlington, Oakville, and Milton:
- November 28, 10am-2pm at JR Toy Company – 2-4265 Fairview St, Burlington
- December 5, 10am-2pm at Canadian Tire – 777 Guelph Line, Burlington
- December 5, 10am-2pm at Canadian Tire – 2070 Appleby Line, Burlington
- December 5, 10am-2pm at Canadian Tire – 1100 Kerr St, Oakville
- December 5, 10am-2pm at Canadian Tire – 251 Hyde Park Gate, Oakville
- December 5, 10am-2pm at Canadian Tire – 400 Dundas St East, Oakville
- December 5, 10am-2pm at Canadian Tire – 1210 Steeles Ave East, Milton
Donations can also be dropped off at the Halton Children’s Safety Village at 1151 Bronte Rd. on the follow dates:
Thursday November 26, 5pm-9pm
Wednesday December 2, 5pm-9pm
Wednesday December 9, 5pm-9pm
