Pedestrian Struck in Milton

On October 2nd 2017, at 5:03 pm, a sixty-two year old Milton woman was struck by a vehicle as she crossed on foot at the intersection of Ontario Street and Laurier Avenue in the Town of Milton.

The vehicle, a 2003 Dodge Dakota, was driven by a twenty-one year old Milton woman who at the time of the collision had been making a right turn from Laurier Avenue onto Ontario Street in order to continue northbound.

The pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries and was brought to a nearby trauma centre where she remains in critical condition. Speed and impairment were not factors in this collision.

The incident remains under investigation and any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police are asked to call Detective Constable Greg Cormier of the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 905-825-4747 ext. 5066
