The Town Of Milton is holding a statutory public meeting on an amendment to the zoning by-law for 155 Ruhl Drive. The development plan is for a 3-storey, 30,000 sq. ft. office building next to a heritage property owned by the same company. Re-zoning is necessary because the proposed building is three times the size the area is zoned for.
The planned development has encountered opposition. An online petition has been set-up asking Milton Council to “not allow any additional building floor area beyond that which is already allowed.” The petition has gathered 250 signatures to-date.
The meeting will take place immediately following the council meeting March 6, 2017. Council meetings begin at 7pm. Residents are invited to make a verbal presentation expressing support or opposition at that time. Click here to find out more information on the development.
