There’s a major winter storm heading to the Milton area. It’s scheduled to begin mid-day on Tuesday, March 1 and continue overnight into Wednesday, March 2.
Strong northeasterly winds will also give blowing snow especially in exposed areas due to gusts of 70 kilometres per hour. About 2 to 5 centimeters are expected Tuesday afternoon. 10 to 20 centimeters are expected throughout the night On Tuesday. As the wind shifts early Wednesday morning to northerly the snow will end.

Parking considerations have been suspended. If you park your car on the street and it obstructs a plow, it would be immediately tagged, and possible towed.
