April is Sikh Heritage Month. Mayor Gord Krantz read out the proclamation April 10, 2019.
After the proclamation, attendees went outside for a flag-hoisting ceremony. Sikh Heritage month celebrates Sikh culture, and the community’s contributions to Canada.
