Milton Council has approved grants for the 2021 Community Fund program. A total of 26 organizations will benefit from shares of an overall $254,872.
“By providing funding to these groups through the Milton Community Fund, we are improving the quality of life for many residents while building sustainable partnerships in the local community,” Mayor Gord Krantz said. The organizations include Arts Milton, Escarpment Probus Club, Milton Film Festival, and the Milton District Hospital (Halton Healthcare).
The Community Fund was established to distribute funds received from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (Woodbine at Mohawk Park) to local organizations. Council has distributed over $6.8 million to a variety of not-for-profit organizations and individuals. For a full list of the recipients visit the Town’s website
