Halton Police have charged multiple drivers with impaired driving during its routine operation to ensure safer streets.
Paul Dixon, 38, resident of Milton, was halted during a traffic stop and charged with blood concentration of 80mgs or more within two hours. In another instance, a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Cedarwood Place and Plains Road East in Burlington, led to charging of one Alexandra Booth, 39, resident of Oakville. She was charged with vehicle operation while impaired.
In two separate instances, Christopher Tyson, 21, resident of Burlington was charged with impaired driving and blood concentration of 80mgs or more within two hours and Mario Manzi, 57, resident of Miltion with blood concentration of 80mgs or more within two hours.
Police have urged the public to report suspected impaired drivers on 911, and refrain from reporting them on social media accounts as they are not monitored 24/7.
