The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating after a body was discovered in the Sixteen Mile Creek in Milton.
Police were called yesterday after the body was discovered in the stretch of creek that runs through the grounds of Royal Ontario Golf Club. The HRPS Marine Unit in cooperation with Peel Regional Police Marine Unit and Milton Fire removed the body, which, has been confirmed as a male. Police are working to determine his exact identity.
HRPS is asking anyone with information to call the non-emergency line at: 905-825-4777, or anonymously submit tips through Crime Stoppers at: 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or their website.
