City Councillor Gurpreet S. Dhillon is encouraging Brampton’s youth to apply for summer jobs through the City of Brampton.
“The City is now accepting resumes and applications for different positions throughout the Corporation,” said Councillor Dhillon. “I would encourage residents, especially our youth, to take advantage of this opportunity – apply now and earn valuable work experience and skills over the summer months.”
Those interested in applying should go to the City of Brampton’s website for more details or visit any local recreation centre and talk to the staff about applying. Potential applicants are encouraged to apply sooner rather than later because vacancies fill quickly.
“Besides submitting a resume and applying online, I would encourage youth to develop more life skills by personally delivering their resumes, and speaking with the staff about the jobs. Those one-on-one interactions build your communication and networking skills and helps boost your confidence,” said Councillor Dhillon.
