Niagara Regional Police Service is requesting an AMBER alert in relation to an abducted child. Victim is Layla SABRY, described as female, white, 9 yrs, 4’2″, thin build, brown hair, brown eyes. Also known as: Layla Haist, or Arya Dillon. She was last seen yesterday at 6 pm, at 6 King St., Welland. Suspect is her mother, Allana HAIST. Allana Haist is 38 years old, 5’1″ with medium length brown hair, and brown eyes. She goes by two aliases: Kate Dillon or Lana Marie. There is no vehicle description available.
This Amber Alert remains in effect. Police are acting under a court order to return the child to her father. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of either Layla Sabry or Allana Haist should contact Niagara Police Service: 905-668-4111 ext. 3300. Update 5:30pm: The Amber Alert for Layla Sabry has ended. Niagara Regional Police consider this an ongoing missing persons investigation.
