As the Milton community continues to grow so does the need for Registered Nurses at Milton District Hospital (MDH).
Halton Healthcare is hosting a Job Fair on Thursday, May 16, 2019 and invites Registered Nurses to stop by to learn more about the organization and the opportunities that are available. Milton District Hospital underwent a significant expansion in 2017 and offers a state- of-the-art surgical suite, emergency department, diagnostics and inpatient units including Special Care Nursery.
“Since we opened the expansion we have seen a steady increase in the number of people coming to our hospital for care,” said Janet Skupsky, Chief Operating Officer. “We have opened many new programs and expanded our services which in turn has resulted in the need to recruit more full-time and part-time nurses.”
“We are looking for candidates who share our passion and commitment for exemplary patient care,” said Sharon Norris, Vice President, Human Resources Planning and Organizational Development. “Candidates will have the opportunity to meet directly with clinical leaders and management from Emergency, Medical/Surgical, Maternal Newborn and Intensive Care Unit, discuss the positions, ask questions and get a sense of what we are all about.”
The RN Job Fair is scheduled for Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 3:30 – 7:30 pm in the MDH Classroom. Interested individuals are asked to apply online to Posting #841556 through the Careers section of the hospital’s website – www.haltonhealthcare.com – before coming to the Job Fair.
“We also have RN opportunities available in our Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Department and Operating Room at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital and a number of part-time housekeeping positions at that site as well,” said Elaine DoRosario, Director, Human Resources. “Our recruitment team is ready and waiting to respond to inquiries about any of these opportunities.”
