A recently held fundraiser has resulted in a sizeable donation to Autism Ontario – Halton Chapter.
This year’s efforts resulted in $15,400.00 being donated to the Autism Ontario – Halton Chapter. A portion of the funds will be used for an Annual Children’s Christmas Party with the balance going towards sports programming offered to autistic children and youth.
The annual event, organized and hosted by the Halton Tactical Rescue Unit in partnership with the Halton Regional Police Association, has raised over $115,000.00 since its inception.
Chief Tanner remarked, “I am extremely proud of the members of our Service who organize and contribute to the success of this annual event.”
