HRPS Arrest 5 in Drug Trafficking Investigation

In August, 2016, members of Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS)- Drug and Morality Unit (DMU) became engaged in a drug trafficking investigation. The investigation subsequently led to the identification of several persons believed to be involved in illegal drug trade in the Regions of Halton, Peel, and Hamilton. On November 16, 2016, six search warrants were executed on both residential and business locations. Five individuals were arrested and charged with various drug and weapons offences.

  • 1207 Appleby Line, City of Burlington – Business
  • 1402 – 70 Glenburn Court, City of Hamilton – Residence
  • 141 Cavell Avenue, City of Hamilton- Residence
  • 1353 Hwy 6, City of Hamilton – Residence
  • 288 Grays Road, City of Hamilton – Business
Items seized in relation to the investigation:
  • 30-06 caliber rifle with ammunition
  • .22 caliber rifle with ammunition
  • .38 caliber handgun with ammunition
  • .25 caliber handgun with ammunition
  • 2.3 kg of cocaine
  • 380 gr of methamphetamine
  • 1 lb of fentanyl
  • 284 gr cannabis marihuana
  • 63 ecstasy pills
  • small amount of ketamine
  • small amount of crack cocaine
  • $125,000.00 Canadian currency
  • 2 kg of cutting agents
  • 4 vehicles: Ford F150, Nissan Rogue, BMW-X5, BMW-C20
Estimated street value of seized drugs: $300,000.00
