HRPS Charge 12 with Impaired Driving Offenses

On April 15, 2019, just before 5:00 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Bronte Road and North Service Road in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Iffrah Tahir (34) of Milton was charged with operation while impaired.

On April 15, 2019, just before 11:00 pm, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Speers Road and Morden Road in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Lindsay Anderson (32) of Burlington was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On April 17, 2019, just after 12:30 am, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Dundas Street and Highway 407 in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Siphiwe Dube (42) of Brampton was charged with operation while impaired and fail or refuse to comply with demand.

On April 17, 2019 just after 2:30 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of Eighth Line and Steeles Avenue in Halton Hills. As a result of an investigation, Xavier Emerson (19) of Halton Hills was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On April 18, 2019, just after 12:00 am, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Iroquois Shore Road and Trafalgar Road in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Emily Malcolmson (23) of Guelph was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On April 20, 2019, just before 2:30 am, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Kenwood Drive and Lakeshore Road in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Jonathan Willson (36) of Burlington was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On April 20, 2019, just before 9:00 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Highway 7 and Fourth Line in Acton. As a result of an investigation, Johnny Lucia (52) of Acton was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On April 21, 2019, just before 1:00 am, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Elgin Street and Brant Street in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Cody Kurpershoek (33) of Burlington was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On April 21, 2019, just before 2:30 am, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Winston Churchill Boulevard and Dundas Street East in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Alen Stanojevic (19) of Oakville was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On April 21, 2019, just after 3:30 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Walkers Line and Dundas Street in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Shannon Pilsworth (33) of Burlington was charged with operation while impaired and fail or refuse to comply with demand.

On April 21, 2019, just after 4:00 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Fairvew Street and Argon Court in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Mateusz Krawiec (26) of Garfield was charged with operation while impaired.

On April 21, 2019, just after 5:00 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Longfield Road and Queen Street in Acton. As a result of an investigation, Sarah Wells (23) of Rockwood was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

Members of the public are reminded that driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is a crime in progress and to call 9-1-1 immediately to report a suspected impaired driver.
