The Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation kicked off its cooperative effort with Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS)’s Toys for Tots program Friday as part of its Miracle on Main initiative.
HRPS has had approximately 90 volunteers as parts of its yearly Toys for Tots project. “It’s the synergy of the two,” HRPS Deputy Police Chief Nishan Duraiappah said of the effort. The tenth annual Miracle on Main takes place Monday December 10, from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. along Main St. in front of Troy’s Diner. “The deal is we want to spread some joy,” Tiger Jeet Singh Jr. said.
