Town of Milton Snow Removal

“When will my street be plowed?” It’s a question asked after every snow storm.  The Town of Milton maintains over 1400 lane km of Town and Regional roads, and over 119 km of designated walkways and sidewalks.

A few reminders:

5-hour parking and No Parking 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. unless otherwise posted.

  • Cars must be off the road during snow plowing (5-hour parking limit does not apply).
  • Cars impeding snow plowing can be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.
  • Keeping your car off the street will speed up snow removal.
  • Important Notice: During snow clearing operations the Town has the right to refuse granting street parking exceptions.

If you’re street hasn’t been plowed within 24 hours after the storm has ended call Engineering Services: 905-878-7252 ext. 2500.

  1. Thank you to all the snow removal team for working hard all night long, while we slept, to get the main roads clear. Keep up the great work, you work is very much appreciated. Stay safe! Maybe the people complaining should buy snow and ice tires as I had no problem at all getting thorough our street.
