Easter Message from Mayor Gord Krantz

On behalf of the Town of Milton, I want to extend greetings to all those celebrating Easter, Passover and other faith-based celebrations this month. I hope everyone enjoys peaceful and joyous celebrations.

This week, the Province of Ontario declared the Easter Bunny an essential worker. I can confirm that the Easter Bunny will be making rounds in Milton this weekend.

This year, we will be celebrating in a way we haven’t done before. I encourage the community to find alternative and creative ways to celebrate, gather and worship during this time. We can all keep our family traditions alive by connecting with faith leaders for worship services online or hosting a virtual brunch or dinner with extended family and friends.

I want to remind residents that gatherings of five or more people is currently illegal in Ontario. This includes social family gatherings. Now is the time to stay home and save lives.

Stay safe and well,
Mayor Gord Krantz
