In June 2018, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) made a request to the Halton Regional Police Service to conduct a sexual assault investigation, which involved two Public Service employees.
Investigators with the Halton Regional Police Service Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit (C.A.S.A.) took carriage of the investigation. On July 5th 2018, Ron Campbell (43 years) of Milton was arrested and charged with one count of Sexual Assault. Campbell was released on a Promise to Appear with a court date of August 13, 2018 in Milton.
