Students at Lumen Christi Catholic Elementary School figured out celebrate Valentine’s Day while giving back to the community. Give a donation, and students could dress in festive clothing instead of wearing their school uniform! Their teacher, Miss McLaughlin embraced the idea. These young ladies proudly presented a cheque to Sarah Callaghan of MDHF for $300.00. Thank you Anna, Gabriella and Dior for inspiring us today.
The Little Leaders- Kids for Health program was established by Milton District Hospital Foundation (MDHF) to encourage kids to give back to their community. Events have included everything from a lemonade stand to a birthday party for charity. Visit the MDHF website for more information.
