The homicide investigation of Ray Venerus has reached its 10th year. Ray Venerus was shot and killed outside his home on Dublin Line (Milton) on February 21, 2007. Ray Venerus, a father and grandfather, was a long time Milton resident who operated several local businesses and still has family that lives in the area.
The Homicide Unit recognizes that there are still families and communities seeking answers and resolution to those murders that remain unsolved. Families of homicide victims will never forget the loss of their loved one, regardless of the passage of time and hope to one day receive news that a perpetrator has been identified and arrested.
Halton Regional Police Service would like to thank the members of the public that have assisted in this investigation to date. The Homicide Unit is appealing to the public for help and any information that can assist in identifying the person or persons responsible, and can help solve this serious crime.
