Effective today, Milton District Hospital (MDH)’s current Main Entrance and parking lot off of Derry Road will be closed. All public access to Milton District Hospital will be from 725 Bronte Street South only.
If you are coming to the hospital on or after April 29, please note:
- All patient and visitor parking will be accessible from Bronte Street South only
- Patients and visitors must use the temporary Main Entrance located on the west side of the hospital (Bronte Street South)
- Emergency patients should continue to use the existing Emergency Department Entrance
New signage will be installed to direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
These changes are required to allow for construction on the north-west corner of the property as part of the hospital’s expansion. The Milton District Hospital expansion is being built to meet the increasing care needs of Canada’s fastest growing community and accommodate new technologies that are changing the way hospital care is delivered. The expansion is on-track to open for patient care in Fall 2017.
