Milton is under a Special Weather statement starting tonight.
The forecast calls for rain, in a system that could leave the area with as much as 15-25 mm of rain. The system is expected to last into Tuesday night, with some areas potentially seeing freezing rain.
Environment Canada warns of potential flooding. “The frozen ground has a reduced ability to absorb this rainfall,” they said. Watch Conservation Halton for more details on flooding concerns.
