At approximately 4:50pm on Saturday the 26th January 2019, an armed robbery occurred at Freedom Mobile located at 500 Laurier Avenue in the Town of Milton.
Three males entered the store in possession of knives and possibly a firearm. The males demanded cell phones from the two employees within. The three males made good their escape and were last observed running north in the plaza towards the intersection of Laurier Avenue and Ontario Street. A silver/grey sedan was seen in the area at this time acting suspiciously. No persons were injured during the robbery.
The suspects are described as follows:
- Suspect 1- male black, wearing a black coat with fur around the hood, black pants, black shoes carrying a red knapsack.
- Suspect 2- male black, wearing a black Nike hoodie with a white shirt underneath, black pants, black shoes carrying a black knapsack.
- Suspect 3- male black, wearing a dark green hoodie with a white full length zipper up the front, black pants and black shoes.
During the robbery the males were wearing masks but removed them as they ran from the store.
