Halton Healthcare is pleased to announce the arrival of the first baby born in 2024 at Milton District Hospital. Baby Lee made a grand entrance at 2:50 a.m. on January 1, 2024, weighing a healthy nine pounds and nine ounces.
Our dedicated staff, professional team, and volunteers extend heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the family on this joyous occasion. The birth of a child is always a significant and celebratory moment, and we are honoured to share in the happiness of such a special event.
In the last fiscal year, Halton Healthcare celebrated the arrival of 4,565 babies through the Maternal Child Departments at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, Milton District Hospital, and Georgetown Hospital. We sincerely appreciate our committed obstetrical team members who play a vital role in ensuring safe childbirth and the well-being of both mothers and newborns. Special thanks go to those team members who dedicated their time and expertise during the 2023 holiday season, working diligently even on statutory holidays.
