The Pakistani-Canadian Cultural Association of British Columbia (PCCA-BC) issued the following statement on the attacks:

We have received with great shock & terrible news of the terrorist attack in Lahore on the Easter Day. On behalf of the team PCCA-BC we express our compassion with the victims and their families and pray for the departed souls. Indeed our thoughts are with the families in this moment of grief and great sorrow. We strongly condemned this act of terrorism and brutal victimisation of innocent people in Pakistan as this is not what Islam has taught us as religion of peace and harmony.

We wish Pakistan a greater stability and peaceful future ahead and hope every single terrorist will be eliminated soon. Once again we want to reiterate that terrorism never been a part of Islamic practices and preaching. Anyone involved in such acts is for sure not amongst Muslim Ummah and true believer of Muhammad (PBUH) and his message.
